Bio: Dana Morgan Dana Morgan, proprietor of Green Carpet, began designing eco-friendly events with her mother & environmentalist, Mary Ianniccheri, over ten years ago. The mother-daughter team would entertain/facilitate benefit functions at the Audubon Canyon Ranch in Sonoma, California using the properties organic elements. The natural charm of the ranch and local resources created a conceptual blueprint that would later become fundamental while conceptualizing Green Carpet.
At age 24 Dana went onto study at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. While in the city she attended many social gatherings, benefits and non-profit fund raisers. It wasn't until then, her views began to change while developing a different understanding of what progressive entertaining truly embodied. Her love for design slowly transitioned as she began to comprehend how the effects of these elaborate functions would impact our planet. With the help of her husband, Robert Orescan & business partners, she went beyond the aesthetics of a gathering and created, Green Carpet. Dana continues her pursuit in using natural resources to create beautiful, memorable eco-friendly events where style meets biomimcry and commemorates, "The art of the sustainable soiree." |
